St. Margaret of Scotland Conference

We provide food vouchers to approximately 50 families every other month and provide assistance with clothing vouchers or beds in a crisis. Through our home visits we are able to ensure our neighbours in need are eligible for our services and are connected to other community resources. All of the donations we receive go directly to provide support to our neighbours in need.

We appreciate your ongoing support through the St. Vincent de Paul envelopes or the donation box that is available at the church exits.   You can also support the SSVP through volunteering your time as a member of the conference which involves providing direct contact with the needy in our parish and assisting with other endeavors. St. Margaret's has been a long-time participant in this very important ministry which helps to feed those in need in our own city. A 10-cup casserole container and recipe are provided by the parish office. The cooked, frozen casserole is then brought to the parish office just prior to pick-up (2nd Tuesday) each month by the Good Shepherd truck.
