PARISH HOME CATECHISM PROGRAM (Coordinator: Anna Di Carlo)

The Parish Home Catechism Program (PHCP) is a catechetical program for Catholic students who are not attending Catholic school who which to receive any Sacraments in the coming year. Registration is no closed.

SACRAMENTS OF PREPARATION

Registration, preparation, and celebration of these sacraments takes place through the parish (not the school) that the child attends. Parents who wish for their children to receive these sacaments must register at the church at the announced times and complete a home-based program. The on-going instruction in the Catholic faith which the children receive in the Catholic School or in the Parish Home Catechism Program is foundamental for the immediate sacramental preparation for Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation.

SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE

If you are planning to be married in the Catholic Church, you are required by the Archdiocese of Toronto to complete a marriage preparation program.

Church law states that the normal place in which marriage should take place is the parish where either the bride or groom regularly worship. We encourage that you contact your parish priest one year in advance of the planned date of your wedding.
